Completely immersed in green untouched beauty of this land,it will bringyou back to nature! The farmhouse is located in the Comune of Civitella Paganico, one of the oldest feifs of the Ardengheschi family, who at the beginning of the last century settled the surrounding area. The farm occupies 850 hectares of the land and produces grain, sunflowers and olives. Part of the land remains untoched, a hunting reserve where wild boar, deer and all of the other species that make up the local fauna roam freely. The agriturismo has traditionally been home to a family of peasant farmers who lived off of what they could grow and catch on their land. Today it has been completely restructured with the old structures such as the stables being converted into accomodation for our guests. All of our accomodation has been completely refurbished in a rustic style with traditional furniture. Each room provides a panoramic view of the surrounding area given the farmhouse's hillside location at 400 above sea level. Linen and cleaning service is provided in each of our rooms, except for the apartments who may, however, request these as extra services. Breakfast is served in our comfortable salon where you can relax in the company of the other guests. The agriturismo has 4 double rooms, 3 mini-apartments for 2-3 people and 6 larger apartments for 4-5 people. Each apartments is outfitted with kitchenette and separate bathroom. The structure is surrounded by a large garden, and at the entrance is a traditional wood-fired oven that guests may use for cooking pizza or whatever they fancy. Guests may make use of the traditional wood-fired oven to cook pizza, grill meat or anything else they choose. A swimming pool is currently being added but in the meanwhile you can relax in the lawn chairs and under the umbrellas and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Get back to nature with a walk in the nearby woods. The more active can try our challenging mountain-bike trails or go horseback riding with an expert guide who will accompany you along the way. Farmhouse Lampugnano is well situated for those wishing to take in the sights in the surrounding area. Florence is only one hour away (100 km) by car and Rome is not that much farther (200 km). In the immediate vicinity are Siena (35 km), the Petriolo thermal baths, or the natural hot springs of Saturnia.
